Roy Miller, Vice President

Working in the residential construction industry since 1990, Roy brings a great deal of experience and knowledge to the team. Having previously worked for a large production builder, Roy's desire for a more personable, detail-oriented company philosophy eventually drew him to Intex Custom Homes. Introduced to one another through their wives, Roy and Joe quickly came to realize they held similar ideals and professional goals. Kept quite busy with boy and girl twins, Roy and his wife Rebecca also enjoy outdoor sports and camping trips.

Mick McGuire, Project Manager

Bringing over ten years of experience in management and project management, as well as a masters degree in business administration, Mick's diverse portfolio includes a strong commitment to social services and youth development programs. From a business and personal standpoint, Mick understands the importance of building neighborhoods that foster community. He is married with two sons and spends his free time playing soccer, fly fishing, camping and golfing.

Joe Bauschelt, Founder and Owner

With over 21 years of experience in the construction industry, Intex Custom Homes is Joe's creation and passion. Joe maintains unprecedented loyalty to his own dreams, matched by a commitment to pursuing those dreams with excellence. Hailing from a family of builders, it surprised few when, at age eight, Joe started crafting jewelry boxes for his mom. He's been honing his skills ever since, gaining experience in residential and light commercial construction, starter homes, and luxury designs valued at $1.5 million. He spent over ten years on a framing crew, owns a framing business, and knows homebuilding inside out. As the man behind the mission, Joe selects only the best subcontractors and endorses only the best building practices. He also plays as hard as he works. Often referred to as "True Oregon", Joe is an avid outdoorsman, relishing any opportunity to sail, kayak or camp. He and his wife Lisa have a young son and daughter.

Brad Miller, Customer Service

A native Oregonian, Brad brings a wide range of service experience and is currently pursuing a construction management degree. He was recently married and among his many talents, he is a licensed EMT and trained in Fire and Aircraft Rescue as a member of the Air Force National Guard.
