BEAVERTON, Ore - Award winning builder Intex Custom Homes announced today that it will hold a "name your price event" on five completed bungalow style homes. The event will take place on Saturday, June 28th and Sunday, June 29th at the Indigo Ridge neighborhood, located in the Cooper Mountain area of Beaverton.

Prospective buyers are welcomed to tour the homes in advance and then offers will begin being accepted at 12:00pm on Saturday June 28th. Prospective buyers can also register for a special VIP (invitation only) preview event on Thursday June 26th from 6-9pm. At the buying event, buyers can submit their offer on the home of their interest and Intex will let the buyer know within 30 minutes if the offer is accepted or not.

As an additional incentive Intex is also offering all successful buyers membership in their "Intex Pioneer" club. The Pioneer club provides members monthly allowance for gas, groceries, yard maintenance, golf at the nearby Reserve golf club and Portland Trail Blazer club seats for the 2008-2009 season.

Intex has never offered a sale on their homes. The event is anticipated to draw many prospective buyers "This sale is the best buying opportunity we have ever offered on our homes. The homes have magnificent finishes and we expect a tremendous response," said Joe Bauschelt, President of Intex Custom Homes. Intex homes feature a uniquely designed bungalow style architecture that is reminiscent of homes from a bygone era. "The architecture of the bungalow style homes that we build has been very popular, once buyers see the homes its hard not to fall in love with them," added Bauschelt.

The "Indigo Ridge" neighborhood features bungalow style floor plans that range from 2927 to 3583 square feet.The homes feature red oak hardwood floors, large covered porches, custom built in cherry bookshelves and columns, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. The Indigo Ridge homes are priced from the mid $600's.

Intex Custom Homes has been the area's new construction leader in "green" homes and is the two-time winner of the Green Building Excellence Award. The honor is given annually by the Home Builders Association of Metro Portland to the firm demonstrating the highest proficiency in sustainable design and construction.
